DollarDecision respects intellectual property rights and maintains compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). As a financial education and research platform, we take copyright protection, content originality, and editorial integrity seriously. This policy explains how copyright claims are submitted, reviewed, and resolved.
All original editorial content, financial research, calculators, comparison frameworks, written analyses, graphics, branded materials, and website design components published on DollarDecision are protected under applicable United States copyright law unless otherwise stated. Our content production process is governed by our Editorial Standards to promote originality and compliance.
Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, republication, scraping, AI dataset harvesting, commercial reuse, or modification of our materials without prior written permission is prohibited.
If you believe that material available on DollarDecision infringes your copyright, you may submit a formal written notification identifying the copyrighted work allegedly infringed and the specific URL of the material in question.
Your notice must include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address for verification purposes. You must also include a statement confirming that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law, along with a declaration made under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner. A physical or electronic signature is required for processing.
All DMCA notices should be directed to our designated contact at dmca@dollardecision.com with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice.” Electronic submission is recommended for faster documentation and review.
Upon receiving a legally sufficient DMCA notification, we may review the claim for completeness and compliance with statutory requirements. If appropriate, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the responsible party.
We reserve the right to act without prior notice where necessary to maintain legal compliance. Users or contributors who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights may have their access restricted, suspended, or permanently terminated.
If you believe content you submitted was removed due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification identifying the removed material and its prior location.
The counter-notice must include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the removal was erroneous, along with your contact information and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States Federal District Court. A physical or electronic signature is required.
Valid counter-notifications should be sent to dmca@dollardecision.com. Where legally appropriate, removed material may be restored within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days unless the original complainant initiates legal proceedings.
DollarDecision publishes independent financial education content and may include affiliate links, advertising placements, or sponsored material as disclosed in our Affiliate Disclosure and Advertising Disclosure. Copyright enforcement decisions are handled independently of commercial relationships to preserve editorial objectivity.
We do not provide legal advice and encourage rights holders to consult qualified legal professionals where necessary.
Knowingly submitting false copyright claims or counter-notifications may result in liability under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, including potential damages, costs, and attorneys’ fees. We encourage all parties to carefully review their rights and obligations before submitting notices.
This DMCA Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in law, operational practices, or regulatory expectations. The most current version will always be published on this page.
